According to Sri Lanka’s State-Owned Enterprises Restructuring Unit, fourteen companies have expressed interest in acquiring Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. (LGL) and Litro Gas Terminals (Pvt) Ltd. (LGT).
The government invited potential investors to submit their Requests for Expression of Interest (REOI) on January 16, 2024, with the proposal deadline ending on March 15.
The received REOIs were evaluated by the Special Project Committee following the Special Guidelines on the Divestiture of State-Owned Enterprises approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in July 2023.
Deloitte India serves as the Transaction Advisor for the Strategic Divestiture of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. (LGL) and Litro Gas Terminals (Pvt) Ltd. (LGT).
