Starting this week, Sri Lanka is gearing up to accommodate a higher influx of tourists from the United Kingdom.
Last week, the UK government eased its travel advisory for Sri Lanka, which previously cautioned against potential attacks in areas frequented by foreigners.
However, it is anticipated that three out of four British tourists may still reconsider travel plans based on the advisory issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Since the beginning of this year, approximately 65,000 British tourists have visited Sri Lanka, marking a significant increase of 115% from the previous year.
